The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) suggests that all children experience screenings for ASD at ages 18 to 24.

The Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers (M-CHAT) is a common screening tool that is being used by special educators. Special educators ask the Parents to fill out the 23-question survey.
